Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Determine component material and tooling strategy to best meet component design, cost, capacity, and quality requirements
• Estimate component and tooling costs
• Provide component design support interacting directly with product designers and suppliers
• Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis
• Participate in R&D product development meetings
• Recommend suppliers for component tooling placement
• Perform component tooling milestone reviews w/ suppliers
• Maintain component tool milestone reports
• Utilize professional project management tools
• Facilitate and document component technical meeting minutes 
• Support new product development qualification process assuring all component tooling needs are executed and met (cost, quality and capacity)
• Adhere to safety policy procedures
