Three Delightful Rump Roast Recipes

Rump roast or round steak is very easy to prepare and great for serving a large group of people. Rump roast can be served with almost any side dish you can imagine and is very versatile. It is also very tasty and has a very low fat, but it can also be difficult, if not prepared properly. By using a few different cooking techniques you will learn what methods and recipes that you like best. The following three recipes are simple to prepare and will leave your guests want more.

Baked Rump Roast

It is about the easiest recipe you'll find the rump roast, but it turns out very good. Just use about a 4 pounds rump roast with a can or a packet of French onion soup and a couple tablespoons of vinegar. Once you've placed the roast in a pan, pour vinegar on it and set it a preheated 350 degree oven. After roast has cooked for an hour, add onion soup in the pan and place back in oven for approximately three hours.

Italian Rump Roast In The Crock Pot

This is a very unique and tasty recipe is also easy to prepare. Add a couple cans of tomato sauce, Italian seasoning mix, and a large jar with spaghetti sauce to a three or four pounds roast. Put everything in your crock pot and season with garlic salt. Now top the roast with about half cup of chopped onions and cook a battle seven hours on low setting. Serve over rice or pasta.

Grilled Rump Roast

This is a famous and if you're in a short time, this will be your best bet. You need a four or five pounds cook a package of onion soup mix, and a quarter cup of both mustard and water. The first thing you need to do is brush mustard on the meat. Then you drizzle onion soup mix on roast and then roll the meat in aluminum foil. Now, just grill the roast for about two hours over medium heat, and you're ready to serve.

All three of these recipes are delicious and easy to prepare. You'll just have to decide which one suits your tastes.
