Gujarat leads top: In Gujarat 1384 new Business projects were organized during the last 12 months ended with Sept, 2008. It estimates around Rs. 2.88 lakh crores. Nano car project which was closed in Singur has been shifted from 7th Oct,2008 to Sanath Nagar of Gujarat. 1100 acre land has been allotted to Tata and the Government welcomed this project . Mr. Mody, developed a Corporate approach in this project by the Government. This policy attracts more industries to Gujarat. Among few States where Private sector investments are more than Government sector investments, Gujarat leads top.
