Designation : Lead Engineer - Informatica Administrator
• Maintain all Informatica Servers. • Ensure SLA’s are met for all tickets (requests) assigned to the Admin.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively • Implement quick fixes if necessary or coordinate with team in case it needs major enhancement.
• Send weekly & monthly status reports on the number of tickets opened, list of open and closed issues. Actively use a Ticketing system.
• Work closely with the Client Lead on migration, enhancement and break fixes.
Desired Profile : Admin must have extensive knowledge about Informatica Admin Console.
• Must have strong data warehouse concepts.
• Must have extensive knowledge about major data bases like SQL Server, Oracle, and Netezza.
• Must have excellent hands on with UNIX scripting. • Must assist On-site Admin with various migration, fixes, enhancements and trouble shooting.
• Must be familiar with various Informatica components like Informatica Repository, PowerCentre, Server and Services.
• Should have some experience on Informatica version upgrade.
• Tools: Expert in Informatica Admin Console, UNIX • Database: Strong MS SQL Server, exposure to Oracle and Netezza
• Knowledge of how to setup Job users, OS Profiling, folder setups, security, migration & other trouble shooting
• Good communication and Analytical skills.
