Web / User Interface Designer
Job Description
The U.I.
Designer will be responsible for creative vision, user experience,
visual communication, and asset production. The designer has to be
versatile and multi-faceted. An understanding of web technologies and
grasp of the tools is expected. We also encourage each designer to
accent his or her particular interests, whether it be motion,
typography, communication or usability.
The designer’s job
is to contribute various forms of U.I. design and production support to
the team. You will be primarily designing interfaces for web, social,
and mobile platforms.
· Work
closely with your team to execute on the creative strategy for projects
by creating viable design schemes for interactive experiences.
· Support all aspects of design and production for your team’s projects, focusing specifically on User Interface design
· Understand
and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements,
internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as schedule
· Cultivate an understanding of industry trends and share your insights with the whole team
4) Job Requirements–
· 2-3 years experience designing interactive experiences
· Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, flash and other Web design softwares
· Strong
technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design
such as HTML, CSS, Jquery, XML, XSLT,XPATH, DHTML, SEO.
· Up
to date knowledge of web development trends and understanding of
technology used in designing interactively (Experience with Actions
Scripting, Jquery, javaScript, AJAX etc. are a plus)
· Excellent communication skills.
· Curated portfolio of personal example pieces, a few live site examples will be considered a plus
