An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Requirements Engineer to work for a leading Automotive Consultancy. Successful candidates will have experience of the Systems Development process and Requirements Capture using DOORS.

The Job

We are currently looking to recruit a Requirements Management Application Engineer to support an onsite client project.
The Role
Requires working within a small, established RMDV team set up to understand current business practices and processes. Future work will involve proposing and implementing a unified approach to RMDV including gathering of requirements, processing changing requirements, verification and validation of requirements and reporting.
  • Provide at elbow support to the RMDV community
  • Communicate and promote the use of published methodologies in functional areas
  • Delivery of classroom training sessions to support the deployment of new methods
  • Developing and documenting new "best-practice" methodologies and workflows in a logical and clear manner
  • Project Management for methods and related IT system developments
  • Interface with other areas of the business (e.g. IT, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering etc) and external partners (e.g. software vendors).
The successful candidate should possess the following skills/qualifications:

Technical:

- RMDV concepts, principles and best practices
- Experience of RMDV tools e.g. DOORS
- RMDV processes expertise
- Complex modelling techniques
- Reporting techniques
- Systems Engineering concepts and principles
- Experience of delivering projects in a recognized project management framework

Analytical:

- Analytical and conceptual expertise
- Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques
- Creation of the Business Requirements Document - BRD
- Requirement change impact assessment expertise
- Testing, verification and validation techniques
- Requirement gathering and analysis techniques
Other Skills & Information:

- Knowledge of business processes
- Ability to have a business-oriented vision
- Time management and personal organization skills
- Integrity and ethics
- Ability to formulate and communicate concepts
