How To Make Corned Beef Brisket The Easy Way

Ever see that huge piece of meat in the supermarket called "Beef Brisket? You will look at it and ask yourself have we heard about how great this tastes, but it can be difficult to get tastes fantastic when it's just a giant piece of meat. You expect that too much work may involve, so you proceed to cut meat as steaks.

What you did not know was that breast meat is one of the easiest meals to prepare, especially if you own a crockpot. You can basically set it up in the morning and as you get home from work, you will have a delicious meal setup for you. Everything you did was put all ingredients in a bowl and just press "cook".

Ingredients

1 Brisket Meat (4 lbs)

1 Small Onion (chopped)

3 cloves garlic (minced)

1 / 2 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar

3 Bay Leaves (crumbled),

8 Whole Black Peppercorn (Crushed)

1 tablespoon salt (pickling)

1 teaspoon parsley (fresh and chopped)

1 teaspoon celery seed

1 cup water

4 Carrots (Peeled & Cut into 1 ")

1 / 2 Cabbage (sliced into thin strips)

Directions

You want to start by mixing the garlic, onion, mustard, vinegar, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt, parsley and celery seed together. Cover the ingredients and place in refrigerator for 24 hours so it becomes a nicely marinated rub.

Next you want to rub the mixture you made the brisket you want to wrap it with Saran wrap and refrigerate breast at night. You want to be sure it is marinated well.

When cooking brisket, put it in a slow cooking equipment such as a crockpot with the quantity of water mentioned above. Keep it covered when cooking and heat on low for about 5 hours.

Do not forget to add the vegetables and continue to cook until brisket is tender. (About 3 hours or more).
