Radio Mirchi Bangalore for the run

It's time to run. It's a ritual now – typically in this season, you get to see a lot in tracks and sneakers, running or taking a stroll in th park. But rare are the times when one gets to see the whole of city running. And what makes this all the more interesting, is people running with a cause. Some thing similar will happen on May 31. Yes, you guess it right, it's time for the much awaited ‘Sunfeast world 10 K' run, which promises to get the city up and running. Radio Mirchi, 98.3 FM, is charging up the mood of the city by organizing the ‘The Sunfeast Get Active World 10 K Expo 2009' – an exhibition cum sale which will feature gears & merchandise by top brands in the health and lifestyle domain. The expo which was inaugurated by Sandalwood star Prem, Hon'ble Minister of Transport, R Ashok and Hon'ble Minister Textiles & Sports, G. D. Shekhar. A prelude to the second edition of the Sunfeast World 10K run, the expo which kick started today (Wednesday, May 27) will go till May 30 (Sunday) at the Kanteerva Indoor stadium from 11 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Brands such as Nike, F-Chisel, Manipal Cure & Care, British Nutritions will give visitors a variety of products and services to choose from health, wellness & running. Apart from this, the expo also promises to be a fun filled event with a host of activities such as DJ Nights, Fashion Nite, performances by Rock Bands, paint ball and more.
