The second official also said a cyclonic storm which had lashed eastern India and Bangladesh this week, had weakened into a depression over sub-Himalayan regions in the eastern state of West Bengal.The weather office has forecast mainly dry conditions over many parts of southern India and some thundershowers in eastern India in the next three days.
