Library up gradation: In Karnataka one State Intelligence Commission was initiated at par with National Intelligence Commission headed by Sam Perrato . First in the Country, the State Commission will function under the head of Mr. Kasthuri Rengan, Ex-chairman of ISRO. The duration of National Commission has been extended up to April,2009. The functions of the National Commission are to provide Internet connection to all Universities in the Country with a speed of 100 mps; connecting all University libraries with internet; and upgrading the Indian Universities to International level.
